What do I need to bring?

Very important.  Please bring two (2) original government issued photo identification to your appointment.

It is required for CCRTIS digital.  Your appointment can not proceed without two original identification.

Please print and bring any instructions you have received from the IRCC, your employer, your lawyer, etc.   This will assist with determining the correct type of fingerprinting and recipient of the report.

We are an RCMP accredited agency authorized to provide fingerprinting services for civil andvpersonal purposes.

How long will it take?

The actual fingerprinting appointment at our office can take between 10 to 20 minutes (digital), and up to 30 minutes for ink & roll.

Processing time to receive your results from the RCMP may take 1 to 2 weeks through regular mail, assuming there is no match in the RCMP database.  If there is a match, it may take 2 weeks to 120 days to receive your results.

Depending on the type of fingerprinting, the results may be sent to you, or directly to your employer, IRCC, Procurement Canada, etc. or as instructed.

If your application has taken longer than 120 days, and you would like a status update, please have your DCN (Document Control Number) ready and call or email the RCMP:

Will my fingerprints be kept on file with the RCMP?

No, for personal, civil, and non-criminal purposes, your fingerprints will be deleted.

In addition to your name and date of birth, you are submitting your fingerprints to the RCMP in order for the RCMP to positively identify you and ascertain whether there are any records of you in the RCMP database.

As this is for civil (non-criminal) purpose, your submitted fingerprints will not be kept on file.  The submitted fingerprints will be deleted in usually 48 hours after submission.
